Quarterley indexes of births, marriages and deaths can be searched free of charge, but the full connecting information (dates, ages, addresses and occupations) is only available as certificates which can be obtained for a fee. Ambiguous entries can be checked against a known fact and some money returned if the entry does not agree with the fact.

The complete website about Wirksworth in Derbyshire with some overlap into Matlock. A mine of information including census returns, parish registers and memorial inscriptions. Amazing!
- Derbyshire Family History Society
Magazines including research interests are published quarterly. The society has a large bookshop and will also undertake postal research and order certificates.
- Nottinghamshire Family History Society
The Notts FHS exists to bring together all who are interested in family history research, to help in the preservation and indexing of local genealogical records, and in the copying and publishing of such records.

Designed specifically for recording family tree information. As well as storing the data, you can display diagrams of the tree and produce reports showing relationships between individuals. Also provides the facility to export the data in GEDCOM format.
- GedMill
Designed for creating web sites from GEDCOM files. Used to generate the index of names, tree diagrams, and individual pages. Note that the software is no longer being supported.

Used to buy the domain name, and host the web site and email account.
